This course is designed to give a good understanding in all areas of Carpentry and Joinery and to ensure that
candidates feel competent in ALL aspects of the course.

? Information, quantities and communicating with others.
? Building methods and construction technology.
? Basic woodworking joints.
? How to maintain and use Carpentry and Joinery hand tools.
? How to prepare and use Carpentry and Joinery portable power tools.

Training & Assessment methods:

This is a 100% hands-on practical training course and candidates will be involved at every stage of the course.

Course Achievements:

Successful candidates will gain the knowledge, skills and competence to allow them to move onto higher level
training and assessment.

Additional Information:

Candidates undertaking this course are required to wear suitable clothing and safety footwear.
