NVQ Level 2 Plumbing Diploma.

Course Overview:

To achieve the NVQ Level 2 Plumbing Diploma, candidates will need to be working within a plumbing environment
on either a full time or part time basis. All assessments will be planned and mutually agreed with the candidate, their
employers and our On-Site Assessors. Due to the sometimes confusing routes associated to gaining NVQ
qualifications, we encourage ALL candidates to attend an informal interview to discuss the programme and scheme
requirements.

Who is this training course for?

This course is aimed at people already working full time or part time within the plumbing industry.

Topic Areas Covered:

? MES2/001 - Maintain the safe working environment when undertaking plumbing work activities.

? MES2/002 - Install non-complex plumbing systems.

? MES2/003 - De-commission non-complex plumbing systems.

? MES2/004 - Maintain non-complex plumbing systems and components.

? MES2/005 - Maintain effective plumbing working relationships.

? MES2/006 - Contribute to the improvement of the plumbing work environment.

Training & Assessment methods:

Candidates will be assessed by collating a portfolio of plumbing work evidence that demonstrates competence
against the scheme and industry requirements. An on-site Assessor will visit candidates in their workplace to assess
the candidates skills and competence and will offer on-going support and guidance, assessment and verification,
observation in the workplace and the collating of other evidence including witness statements, job reports and other
qualifications or training.

Course Achievements:

Successful candidates will receive NVQ Level 2 Plumbing Diploma certification.

Additional Information:

Please Note: Additional units will have to be completed as part of this course if candidates decide to take either the
Domestic Gas or Oil routes in the future.
