Plumbing & Water Training Courses & Assessments:

Water Regulations.

Who has to comply with the Water regulations?

Owners and occupiers of premises and anyone who installs plumbing systems and/or water fittings have a legal duty
to ensure that systems satisfy the Water Regulations.

Advance notice must be given of proposed instalments in most cases so that Architects, Building Developers and
Plumbers have to follow the regulations on behalf of future owners or occupiers.

Who is this training course for?

This course is designed for Plumbers, Heating Engineers, Gas Installers and anyone else who
installs, maintains or modifies domestic plumbing systems.

Course Duration:

1 day - 8:30am to 4:30pm.
This course is also available as an on-site training course dependent on candidate numbers.

? Requirements for water fittings.           ? Cold Water Services.
? Water System Design and Installation.      ? Hot Water Services.
? Commissioning.                             ? WC’s, flushing devices and urinals.
? Backflow Prevention.

Training & Assessment methods:

All candidates will receive a Water Regulations Training Course workbook 3 weeks before the assessment date in
order for them to complete the self-learning modules.

During the morning session on the date of the assessment, a formal tutorial and review of the candidates completed
workbook will be held followed by a written assessment during the afternoon session.

Course Achievements:

Successful candidates will receive LOGIC Water Regulations certification.
